**Bio:**

Hello, I'm Lorie Layman, and my journey in the real estate world began back in 1991. Since then, I've dedicated myself to this profession, striving to make a meaningful impact every step of the way. As the managing Broker of the Crye-Leike office in Franklin, TN, I've had the privilege of leading a team of dedicated professionals while serving our community with integrity and excellence.

My commitment to raising the bar in real estate professionalism led me to serve as the Past President of the Williamson County Association of Realtors. During my tenure, I worked tirelessly to uphold ethical standards and promote best practices within our local industry.

This year, I'm honored to have been appointed as the Chairperson for the 2024 Professional Standards Committee for the State of TN. It's a responsibility I don't take lightly, as I believe in the importance of maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism across our state.

Beyond my local involvement, I've had the opportunity to contribute on a national level. Chairing the Medium Board Forum for the National Association of Realtors and serving on the Local Idea Exchange Council has allowed me to share insights and collaborate with industry leaders from across the country.

But my dedication doesn't stop there. I've also been actively involved in shaping policy and community development. Serving on both the State Government Affairs Committee and Forms Committee, I've worked to influence legislation and regulatory frameworks to better serve both clients and agents alike. Additionally, my three years of service on the Franklin TN Housing Commission have been immensely rewarding, allowing me to advocate for sustainable development and address housing needs within our community.

Outside of work, I find fulfillment in giving back to the community. Volunteering at the Williamson County Animal Shelter has been a particularly rewarding experience, as it allows me to combine my passion for real estate with my love for animals.

In everything I do, whether it's in my career or my community involvement, I strive to embody the values of integrity, professionalism, and service. I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had to make a positive impact, and I look forward to continuing to serve and inspire others in the years to come.
