Rebecca MacKenzie, of VandeWater & Associates Inc. based in Lyons Falls, NY, has been assisting in real estate transactions for two years as the Office Manager.  Along with managing the office she is now a new Real Estate Salesperson and is representing clients in the Tug Hill/Adirondack region of New York State.  Rebecca is building a solid foundation of clients in this community through her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to always put her client’s needs first.
She studied Business at MVCC, and afterward began her 23-year career working in the Trucking Industry at Teal’s Express Inc as the Office Manager.  In 2011 she became a NYS EMT volunteering with the Lyons Falls Fire Department that’s where she began to hone her Passion for helping people in need.  In 2014 she began a new career path of working as a 911 Dispatcher/Correction Officer at the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.  She still considers it an honor and a privilege to have provided protection and assistance to the citizens of Lewis County.  However, Rebecca took another path and started working to assist clients in finding their perfect homesite or recreational property.
Active in the community, Rebecca is also a proud part of the Lyons Falls Fire Department Auxiliary, where she served as the President from 2010 to 2019.  Rebecca was also the President of the Lyons Falls Bowling Association from 2010 to 2018.  She has been a member of the Lewis County EMS Council since 2013.  She continues to assist her community as a volunteer EMT with the local Fire Department.
Rebecca has always been a resident of Lyons Falls and together with her husband Robert have raised two daughters and enjoy the company of their fur babies Collin and Nala.
